Project type: Concept / Case Study
Focus: Feature onboarding, user flow clarity, service management
Role: UX/UI Designer

This concept project explores the UX and interface design for a mobile operator service called “Virtual Number.” It allows customers to create up to five additional phone numbers for specific scenarios like job search, classified ads, or dating — all without requiring an eSIM or additional SIM card.
When someone calls one of these numbers, the incoming call is displayed with a corresponding label such as "Work," "Ads," or "New Match" — making it easy for users to distinguish the purpose.
This feature works via call redirection logic while maintaining the user’s main SIM and number.
To design an intuitive and trustworthy onboarding and management experience for this non-standard telecom service — integrating it into the user’s personal account with clear flows and thoughtful visual language.
Discovery Goals
I reviewed virtual number services from major Russian telecom providers including: Tinkoff Mobile, Megafon, Tele2.
